This is my first blog entry in this blog at EBM WebSourcing. So let me introduce myself and the main topics on which I plan to write entries in the next weeks.
Before founding EBM WebSourcing with Bertrand Escudié in late 2004, I worked for 8 years in IT, first as research engineer at Alcatel, as a J2EE and XML consultant at Valtech and lastly as Middleware Architect at France Telecom IT departement.
As founder and CTO of EBM WebSourcing, I'll tell you the news of our company as editor of open source solutions for SOA.
Our flagship product is the open source ESB PEtALS, hosted by ObjectWeb, which provides a true industrial class middleware for SOA infrastructure. We are about to deliver the PEtALS 1.1 with a new commercial support offer.
For a while, I also noted a list of subjects I want to write something about :
- the position of JBI and SCA
- our definition of an ESB and what features are necessary to create an infrastructure supporting an SOA
- the very exciting work we are doing to make the ObjectWeb ESB initiative evolve to cover all the SOA concerns
- the evolution of ObjectWeb towards OW2C, and my involvment in the Technical Council of the new consortium.
