EBM WebSourcing is an independent IT startup funded 2004 in Toulouse,
France. With a capital of 143 000 € and 20 employees, EBM WebSourcing
have well-known customers: France Télécom, Alcatel, EDS Answare, Air
France; as well as national and international administrations.
Established
by Java architects with strong expertise in integration and Web
Services, EBM Websourcing provides solutions based on Internet
technologies for information systems.
EBM WebSourcing is
targeting information systems collaboration market. Enterprise agility
and collaboration requirements enforce information system managers to
set up flexible and interoperable architecture. Thanks to Business
Process Management and Service Oriented Architecture approaches, EBM
WebSourcing stays at the cutting edge of innovation in order to allow
networked organisations to improve competitivity and to facilitate
digital ecosystems implementation.
Since inception, EBM
WebSourcing set Open Source as a key strategic driver and joined OW2
(former ObjectWeb) consortium: the European Open-Source middleware
specialist.

As an open-source editor for solution dedicated to the alignment of
enterprise information system with business strategy, the core business
of EBM Websourcing deals with design and implementation of open-source
solutions dedicated to information exchange between information
system’s services and B2B.
EBM WebSourcing has three main activities.
Extended enterprise
With PEtALS project, EBM WebSourcing is the European leader for
open-source service infrastructure edition in order to implement
Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). PEtALS is an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration solution based on Java ™ Business Integration (JBI) standard. PEtALS
implements following functionalities: Connexion, Distribution, Routing,
Transformation, Orchestration, Administration of services and data
exchange between services (see: http://petals.objectweb.org ).

Governance, Architecture and Business Process Modeling Information
System managers have to improve information system agility at low cost.
This can be managed by business process modelisation, orchestration,
management and optimisation.
That’s the reason why EBM WebSourcing is leading OW2 SOA initiative
(former ESB initiative). Its goal is to define an open-source platform
dedicated to business users. This platform supply an integrated
environment for BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) based process
modelisation, BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) and PEtALS
execution.
Collaborative Information System
Solutions for business ecosystems
EBM Websourcing develops a Web 2.0 pervasive platform dedicated to
business networks. This new generation Internet collaborative tool
called 6Naps, allows improving collaborative processes between
businesses, partners and customers.
Main goal of this open-source collaborative solution is to improve
information system interoperability thanks to a service based approach.

EBM WebSourcing is strategic member of OW2 (former ObjectWeb) the open-source consortium dedicated to middleware.
EBM WebSourcing is member of the NESSI technology platform.
The NESSI Technology Platform aims to provide a unified view for
European research in Services Architectures and Software
Infrastructures.
EBM WebSourcing is founding member of InterOp VLab (Interoperability Research for Networked Enterprises Applications and
Software) the virtual laboratory dedicated to enterprise
interoperability.
EBM WebSourcing has a R&D team that develops partnership with research bodies thanks to Phd students and research projects.
